The day was great! It was fun though we ran into some (no not some) problems... haha.
Good thing... org officers were still willing to offer their efforts to make the event such a success (though we can't force others to go with the flow, urgh...)
The afternoon session was so cool. Having JM and Sir Tito on the floor, the exchange of ideas really made us more knowledgeable about the Ubuntu (Sir Rick already introduced it to us with our first seminar with him happened last sept13 at the school's conference room) and several free open source software that we can use in exchange with our easy-to-use-coz-it's-what-most-people-use softwares.
One fun part is when JM and Sir Tito showed us how they remove VIRII from two students' thumbdrives (one of the two was mine, haha). It's fun (for me) coz when Sir Tito opened my disk, there was this virus named "SSG Nude Scandal" (if i'm not mistaken), which caused the crowd to tease me! Hello, a file named as that is really something to be teased about! Thanks to JM, he saved the day! Ahaha.
We (me and my best bud Annavs) went to UMAK with Sir Tito, JM, Medic, and Elvin after the event at PUPT. There, we continued to learn about Software Freedom Day. More and more open source software were introduced and as we go on, more and more friends were also met =)
This day was such a to-be-blogged. It was unforgettable and I know that this was just the start of a more-senseful activities.
